I made this as a gift for a friend who was really into Portal. I spent some time over winter holiday putting together the CAD by eye from various images, and when I came back to school I took advantage of the fact that our student machine shop has a 3D printer available for student use to make a few.SLDPRT file is from Solidworks 2010.Sentry robot belongs to Valve, I am just borrowing its image for a cool project.If you have access to a 3D printer and you want to print this you probably don't need my help. The figure is about 3.5" tall, and to save material I laid it down on its side. However this means that the front legs are extremely weak and brittle. I'd recommend either beefing up the slender leg supports or printing it in a different orientation (if one can be found) to make it work better.
