I don't know why I choose 15.4 mm but that is how it worked out visually for me. Note: The Garmin Virb mount dimensions were taken from a CAD rendering of the mount and not an actual mount. Please leave a comment if there is any errors. Sony Direct Mount Base requires a M4 x 10 mm socket head cap screw to attach to the camera. Please let me know if there are any improvements needed.
