Keyblade. This is a full size replica of the keyblade from the game Kingdom Hearts. Printable on a 140 x 140 bed. (up printer etc) My son and I put this together for a SFX trial to make some example game cut scenes. If your in the USA and have access to 1-3/4" OD x 1-5/8" ID pipe then print the USA blade parts keyblade_blade_base_usa.stl keyblade_blade_a_usa.stl keyblade_blade_b_usa.stl keyblade_blade_c_usa.stl keyblade_blade_d_usa.stl keyblade_blade_e_usa.stlotherwise print the parts keyblade_blade_base.stl keyblade_blade_a.stl keyblade_blade_b.stl keyblade_blade_c.stl keyblade_blade_d.stl keyblade_blade_e.stlPrint one of all the parts except the following keyblade_handle_a - 2 off keyblade_handle_e - 2 off. chain_link2 - 3 off chain_link - 12 off Assembly: Glue the hilt and the handle together using small lengths of 1.75mm filament as guides. The peg is used to locate and fix the keyblade_blade_base. If you have a 3mm filament printer then you could drill out the indexing holes to fit, they will still work. Glue the keyblade_blade_d tube into the base of the assembled keyblade_blade and into the 500mm tube. Glue the hilt to the other side of the tube. Using a 2mm drill and lengths of filament (or 3mm as required) to pin the tube to the hilt. once the glue is dry trim off any excess filament. The chain_link2 is used with the clasp_body to attach to the hilt. glue the remaining chain_link_2 parts together through the base of the clasp_body to make a circular link. Using the chain_link parts assemble the remainder of the chain remembering to link them before gluing. Finally link the mickey medallion when you glue the final link. Using car body filler fill any gaps and sand down before painting. We used some fabric looking tape on the handle to give it a leather look. This will not stand up to throwing around or hitting things! This is a decorative prop and you are entirely responsible for your own actions.
