A possible layout for a kit barn based house. It is loosely based on https://www.sheds.com.au/steel-kit-homes/country-home/ but with a custom floor plan and an extra 3M in length. I will also be looking at an alternative barn which has an extra metre in width on the top floor - this makes a big difference. The site I have in mind is off-grid and is near a wetland so it has constrants others don't have. The sunward (north) roofs are for solar panel so there should be no shadows over them. The composting toilet is away from the panels and the wet-lands. The upper bathroom is near the composting toilet so a low-flush toilet could be fitted. The upper floor is for living and the lower for workshops and parking - expect for toilet and laundry. The design is 3D printable at 1% scale. The main house is split into five parts for printing. .4 nozzle works better than .6 The thinest walls are removable support. I have not printed the roofs.
