Recycle the coffee/tea in k-cups (solid waste) in wide mouth mason jars. Mix it with compost or garden soil. Fits where the lid to a wide mouth mason jar fits. Not recommended for persons with sensitive allergies, because mold will likely form if it gets used a lot and may cause sinus congestion, emphasis on not likely. It works good at my parents house though because they don't use the Keurig that often... A friend tested this print in his office place with a huge (half gallon) mason jar and filled it up about twice a week(!) designed in USA This thing is ready for injection molding if anyone wants to start a company and make these go for it, (Keurig Green Mountain this message is for you! :)) Otherwise, do it for the environment getting some good coffee fertilizer and saving it from going into the landfill!!! These settings yield about 1.5h print but will survive alot of abuse... The quick settings takes about 40m to print an will work okay for a few weeks, but it will break because the layers will fatigue, not recommended but good for demonstration or someone who isn't in an office setting drinking 20 cups a day... note: Unless the plant is fairly large, straight coffee on potted plants will kill them, need to mix it with dirt and let it break down first if you don't have a fan on your 3d printer get one! Just drill a small hole in the 3d printer frame right in front of the extruder. Using this hole, mount a 12V 80mm computer fan on it's corner (like a diamond) on one 4-40 X 1.25" machine screw/nut and power it off a 5/6V old cellphone charger, if you don't use a fan for this print, it will come out fine until it does the top point, then the point will get all tornadoed...it'll still work tho! with fan 100% fill 235C extruder PLA, (higher temp produces shiny smooth surface) 5 shells 80C build plate 80mm/80mm .2mm layer height .3mm z-offset supports recommended*** 2 layers blue tape on aluminum build plate, one horizontal, the other vertical, peel it off one tape layer in one piece by (preheating) the build plate up to a hundred and ten Celsius after it finishes... quickly peel the tape off the part and push it against a cold hard surface like a piece of glass or a polished stone tile, etc until it's cooled off... if you want to do a quick print 100% fill 215C Extruder PLA 3 shells 80C build plate 90mm/150mm .4mm layer height .3mm z-offset supports recommended*** if your filament is printing like crap, dry it out with flower drying silicate in opened pint zip lock bags next to the spool of filament in a sealed larger gallon zip lock bag. peace.
