I've designed a spool holder for the orbi-tech.de reels that improves on my previous "Bearing for filament spindle" design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4640) by using the bearings as an integral part of the whole design. The bearings now fit snugly into the spool centre holes, with lips to stop them from going all the way through. The centre hub extends to provide holes for 8mm wooden dowels which connect the spool and bearings to the 4 feet below. The base is designed to splay out slightly to provide extra support.Print 2 of each part (2 bearings, 2 'a' feet, 2 'b' feet). You can either print the parts individually, or print the whole set in one go (took 7 hours on my printer.) Make sure you print the bearing with support (if using Skeinforge, select "Exterior Only".)Assemble with 8mm wooden dowels of the following lengths:1x 10cm - between the bearings 2x 27cm - base (long) 2x 16cm - base (short) 4x 23cm - diagonalsThe whole thing should fit together pretty easily, with enough friction to keep everything in place. If the long base dowels feel like they might slip out of the corner feet, secure them with glue or (as in my picture) nails :)
