Stop dropping your iron on the floor with a wobbly ironing board! Ironing boards always wobble. Cheap version (and sometimes not-so-cheap versions) have play in the leg joint. Build this shim gasket washer thing and snap it in place to tighten up the pivot point. Build the gasket for a few cents of ABS and save yourself from having to buy a new iron.Print 2 or more. Snap in place. Design is for 1" tubing. Center hole is 1/4". Build notes: I printed in ABS at 25% fil on an XYZ Da Vinci printer (with the usual fixes). I generated g-code from Cura and then converted to .3w format for printing. I usually print at least 2 of smaller items at a time like this to avoid melting issues--some slicers will take care of the heat issue. I probably should have printed a white or grey washer... Anyway, it shows up nice and green in the picture.
