Here is a pan tilt mechanism for 28BYJ-48 motors. It uses internal gearing. It is super duper easy to print. The x axis gearing is 1:6.3 The y axis gearing is 1:4 This is a work in progress so expect more revisions as I work my way towards an ideal design for a heliostat. Speaking of heliostats, included is a mounting bracket for a mirror or other reflector with M6 holes. Note the pictures do not show the limit switches, as I am waiting for the M2.5 screws to arrive.VERY IMPORTANT: I did not re-orient the stl files, so you will need to rotate them using whatever software you choose. I use cura, but all the parts can be rotated for no overhangs. Also, if you are actually trying to move something with weight, I recommend that you overvolt the motors as they have very little torque at 5 volts. Just remember to turn them off after they move, otherwise they will overheat and melt the shaft slot in the gears. You will need: 2x 28BYJ-48 motors some M3 flathead screws (~10mm) some M3 socket head screws (10-20mm) some M3 nuts 1x 608 bearing an M8 bolt and nut 2x 609 bearings 1/4" square rod 2x microswitches, 9.5mm spacing, 2.5mm holes 4x M2.5 screws for mounting the microswitches grease (vaseline or lithium grease) oh and 1 of all the parts If you have trouble figuring out which small gear is which, the two gearsets have different helix angles so only one of the little gears will make a nice parallel mesh with a particular large gear. Otherwise there are very few parts and should be pretty obvious to assemble.
