This 3D model aims to assist the rescue mission saving people entrapped under the building remnants. This is a 3D map of Kathmandu, Nepal. The city Kathmandu has five sectors (West, East, Central, North, and City Core). Based on the primary construction materials for buildings(Clay & Plaster & Cement mortar, or RCC frame), and how affected the areas were by the earthquake, this 3D model aims to estimate how urgent rescue mission is necessary. The West Sector, North Sector, and City core were extensively exposed to the earthquake and their primary construction materials were clay mortar.
