With all those loose pieces of filament laying around this is just what you need! It's a simple, strong and quite big filament spool with an Ultimaker attachment to hold your spools. They are quite stack-able but we also included wall mounts, this way you can be your own 'West Coast Customs' but with filament spools instead of rims on the wall.The filament spools themselves can be laser cut out of a 3mm plate. You need three of each component, 9 M3x16 bolts and 9 M3 nuts. In the STL you can see how they lock into each other. But who would make one when you can have 10 of them!? That's why we also included 2 plates for a 600x300mm laser cutter with nested parts to create 10 at once! The Ultimaker spool holders consist of three parts which are held together with some M3 bolts and nuts. This sandwich can be attached to the upper-left-back corner of an Ultimaker (opposite to the extruder drive). You have to take out the two bolts in the corner and replace them with some that are just a bit longer (M3x20) to attach the part. Last but not least we have even attached some wall mount spool holders. Now you can pimp up your room and show off your filament. It's a basic print and you can fiddle with your slicer settings all you like. We printed them on our Ultimakers using a 0,8mm nozzle and a layer thickness of 0,2.
