A pan/tilt camera rig for kite aerial photography. Two micro servos can be operated by an on-board microcontroller or RC receiver. The upper frame is modified from the Titan 2 Rig, and the leg brackets are from the Redstone Rig. The shaft of a Picavet suspension is an integral part of the panning mechanism. Gears are modified from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:621348 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:20661 Kits to build this rig are available at The KAPtery.The axle for panning, which is the shaft of the Picavet suspension, is a 0.312" diameter solid fiberglass rod. The large gear, bushing (spacer tube), and holes in the top of the upper rig frame are sized for that rod. The small gear is sized to fit on the spline of a Fitec continuous rotation micro servo.
