I stumbled across this site in my search for things to make on my sherline cnc mill. Most of the projects are geared towards people either having/having access to a laser cutter.This is just a cnc version of the LED badge.The flat parts of the middle section have been rounded so I could get my 1/16" endmill in to cut it out. Construction is basically the same as the original once all the pieces were cut.The pieces were a little snug because I didn't realize that I was cutting the middle parts exactly to size, so I had to sand down the edges of the battery holder part to get it to slide better.My suggesstion is to leave out the little slots for the LED legs when making the gcode. As you can see from my picture the cnc milled a big chunk of plastic out( the bit was too large). You could probably run it through a scroll saw afterwards.
