Like most people with a Quantum Trifecta Tricopter, I needed longer legs to stop the battery hitting the ground. This is my version. The kink in the leg is to allow the leg when folded to pass over the ESCs under the leg. I don't have a 3D printer so these were sent to Shapeways for printing. This has the advantage that I don't have to worry about orientation, support material, clean up or anything like that but I do have to wait about 10 days to see the results. I have a you tube video discussing the design. https://youtu.be/G9kZP7-YGcw The 123D Design file has been included for anyone that wants to modify it for their own purposes. 1-Aug-2015 I have changed the design of the rear leg. I found the original would fold on bumpy landings so I've mad a bigger support for it but this means it doesn't fold as nicely. Check out the photos of the change.I simply sent the STL files to Shapeways for production and let them worry about the hard stuff. It uses the existing thumbscrew to attach the rear leg and the push in pins for the front legs. The STL file for the front leg only contains one leg but two need to be produced.
