As part of the XRobots Challenge by James Burton, people are asked to design new ways to assemble a costume that can be done by one person fairly quickly. This is my answer. So this design is broken down in to various parts that need to be glued together. It was also design to be 6 cm wide at the most so there is a need for accurate scaling. These are the instructions so far. 1)The idea is that the 4 fabric mounts get glued into the fabric mount holder. 2) The flat side of the fabric mount holder get glued to the bearing mount. (you need two of these) 3) now assemble the inner and outer bearing lock. 4) glue a bearing mount holder to each of the two inter locking pieces. 5) install the bearings 6) snap together the pieces and you should be done. This design is a work in progress and please feel free to add comments and print this out yourself.
