With the H4n attached to my shoulder rig or camera I noticed that it does pick up some impact noise from my hands on the other side of the rig. Not for field recorders. Using the microphone-stand adapter of the H4n was no option as the high center of gravity only allows for stationary mounting of the recorder.This design Based on the existing inner part for a spider mount for the H4n field recorder, I designed an outer part to mount it to a 15mm rod system. In this case, the diagonal rod that holds the handles.
