latest notes - now outdated see version 3 V3 final IMPORTANT UPDATE NOTES- THIS v2 is still not how i want it, i find it ever so slightly top heavy and therefore its a fine line when setting the initial balance up, small movements produce a lot of change, so i do have a V3 drawn out that will be slightly lower than this one, and therefore a smaller moment force exerted on the setup proceedure. This current version will work better if you use smaller weights (ie washers) to fine tune it, in conjunction with the hague weights, rather than trying to use only the supplied hague weights. Hague MMC steady cam V2 GoPro adapter. revision of my V1 mount, uses the supplied hague weights fixed with M5 bolts and nuts, to balance the camera its slightly different to the photos of my version, i made a few tweaks, hopefully, for the better, the main revision being the weights are now central / inline to the hague mmc, rather than outboard (makes for better balancing) I also added a recess for the M5 nuts to be glued in, so thats its easier to screw the bolts in. see my video on youtube at (pending)printed at a high infil, just to ensure strength and longevity. uses a standard 1/4 inch nut for the hague interface. uses 2xM5 bolts and nuts to hang the weights on.
