Lasercut project for a small lens-hood for the Sanyo HD1 and HD2. It is pressure fit on the lens.Lasercut from 3mm wood, I have been using birch plywood for model airplanes, but it could be made from softer materials also.I find that when cutting hard wood, it help running the laser at lower power and do multiple cuts to get a nice clean edge.once cut carefully stack the layers with a bit of wood glue and enjoy flare free video.
