Decorate the rim of pies with pieces of crust cut from the same crust as the pie. For the Maple leaf, started with the outline from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:121331
The original needed to be scaled to be smaller & then thickened, resulting in thin or no walls on my printer so I used the outline from it.The maple leaf initially was a bit smaller than the oak leaf so: an additional stl maple leaf part file (25% larger) has been included, to more closely match the oak leaf.
After printing, I left the rim on the oak leaf for grip. Press the cutter into the pie crust holding the rim and separate the core from the cutter. Moisten the back side of the leaf and point on the crust where it will be placed. Then press the two together around the rim or decorate the center of the pie. Could even cut cores from the center area of the pie crust for decoration.
