Dutchmogul's beautiful and inspiring Cyvasse set was crying out for a dualstrusion playing board.boardplatemajorsquares.stl contains the base plate and the "major" raised squares. Merge this with boardminorsquares.stl for two of the four builds. Merge boardplateminorsquares.stl with boardmajorsquares.stl for the other two builds. You'll end up with a 10x10 board with alternating color squares, perfect for Cyvasse. Printed on a MBI Replicator dual extruder, Sailfish firmware, ReplicatorG 40r17 Sailfish, Skeinforge 50 with PyPy, 1.8mm black and white ABS filament from MBI, .17mm layer height, 110C HBP, 230C left and right extruders, 10% infill, 1 shell. I'm open to suggestions on how to resolve a flaw in the way the stls merge. The bottom layer of the free-floating squares seems to coincide with the top layer of the base plates. This causes my nozzle printing the free-floating squares to jam for that Z position. If I babysit the print and unjam the second nozzle once the build platform moves down a layer, all is mostly well. The white squares still suffer somewhat when the black nozzle scrapes across their surface. I hope to find (or code) a Skeinforge module to restrict the build order of individual islands to avoid nozzle dragging.
