With youtube now supporting 360 vr vids I felt I had to do something so I could enjoy that! And there are also apps out there that you can use to send picture from your pc to the phone and split it for VR. So I designed this VR headset in Autodesk Inventor ( to hold with your hands ) to be able to see them on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3! The lenses I recovered from two loupes ( image attatched of what kind of loupes ) With the measurements of : lens frame 30x30mm 5mm thick, lens dia 20mm with a focal point of 40mm. And also I of course had to do the phone as real as I could in the rendering hehe! Happy VR'ing out there! Ps, I know the print quality of mine came out kinda wierd :P! Probably due to a flimsy buildplate... Gets better the closer it gets to the z axis.
