I have a very nice Ikea LED desk lamp you can find here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20169658/ Because I have very limited desk space I've decided to build a wall mount for it. You can easily dismount the lamp base using a screwdriver. The mount contains only 2 pieces. One to be fixed on the wall with 2 screws and one where the lamp is fixed using own screws from the base. In the lower part of the main module a simple power switch is mounted and a 3mm standard red LED connected through a 390ohm resistor in parallel with the lamp (take care at the polarity). The LED lights up only when the lamp is off. This helps locating the lamp switch in the dark.Just print the 2 parts in your prefered material and fix the small one on the wall. The main part just slides over the piece mounted on the wall. No need for glue or other screws.
