I wanted to upgrade the fan mount to allow for a taller high performance fan. So I based this design off the original Printrbot shroud and extended it out beyond the bridge. The holes for the mount need a little work as they get filled in at a few levels but a drill could correct for the issues rather quickly. EDIT: I added two pictures after installing this fan mount. A few things that have come up since installing the mount. The taller fan I got is hitting the cabling on the machine. So its not ideal but does work. I have tried a few things to get around this issue but have decided to use a cable chain to replace the current wiring setup. The current design does put stress on the cables next to the extruder and was the reason my other fan stopped working.
