If you think putting a ride share vehicle sticker up is considered marketing for the company, you are indeed a dim-wit and an imbecile. The fact you log in to their driver app is already marketing their brand for them. Why ? Because the customer / rider can see you in their app. That is already marketing for the company. Your vehicle's visibility and availability is already marketing their brand for them.

So if the regulations says put sticker up for your vehicle, put the sticker or sign up. If you decide to put only 1 sticker or sign up but take trips requests from multiple ride companies, what you do during a trip will "affect" that company's brand. If you don't like doing marketing for a specific ride share company, then DON'T log-in to their driver app.
