Accordion recommendations?
(And "Why bother?" and "Isn't too much corn bad for your hips?" has already been flung, wiseguys!)

Our keyboard player has finally come to agree that we indeed need an accordion for several of our songs. We'd lure someone on board for this, as we've got plenty of prep work just w/ piano and organ as it is. But such players are mighty hard to find around here. He's eager to learn it.

So anyone got a good brand & model, at a good-enough price (let's say mid-level), to suggest? Buying used would be fine, if not preferable. The accordion equivalent of a good Squier.

Thanks!

lonarcvarden - Oh, accordions are such a fun addition to any band! I had a similar situation in my group, and finding a good one at the right price was a challenge. But we got lucky with a used Hohner model, like the Squier of accordions, you could say!
It was a mid-level model that fit our budget and played like a dream. Now we are thinking of getting concertinas for sale https://mcneelamusic.com/concertina-for-sale. That will create a unique sound as well.

murphybridget - A 48-72 bass piano accordion is great. Hohner and Roland are reliable brands. Choose based on your music style and budget!
