Such Asian American designer as Vera Wang has made the Chinese fashion in America to be aesthetically accepted and “branded”. Wang represents not only the creative vision of fashion, but also brings the Chinese cultural elements to the higher level not only in China or America, but the whole world. In such a way, he has created a new stream of the designers and brands referencing to the Chinese traditions and iconography. Some other Asian brands that influence the American life are Shanghai Tang, Hanae Mori, Takai Kenzo, Zang Toi, and others.

Some more traits of acculturation and Asian contributions can be observed on the example of the Asian American theatre. Founded by the East and West players, it has grown very fast and brought to a big scene numerous talented artists and playwrights of the Asian origin including Frank Chin, Henry Hwang, Ping Chong , Jessica Hagedorn , B.D. Wong, and Velina Hasu. The important aspects presented by the company are quite informative for the American nation in terms of cultural nationalism and interculturalism.
