I was curious about my glove box flashlight (seriously, when I found this after I bought the car I thought it was so freaking cool) reliability so I pulled it out, turned it on, and left it on my desk while I played online with some friends last night and allowed it to burn until it got dim. It lasted about two hours. I assume the batteries are good due to this.

Now, I tried to gently unscrew the bulb and it doesn't really turn. Can it be removed? I would like to find an LED replacement for a brighter light and longer run-time. I see loads of tutorials online for disassembling them to replace failed batteries but since my light burns for over two hours I assume they're good. I am primarily looking for a brighter light here, and I would have thought the bulb could be removed for replacement if it burned out. Am I wrong here?
