When you forget your Pinterest account password and cannot access the Pinterest dashboard, you need to reset your password. However, to login if you don't want to use password, you can login directly with Facebook account or Google account. To do this, go to the Pinterest web app or mobile app login page and click either Sign in with Facebook or Sign in with Google, depending on your choice.
Alright, if you haven't connected your Google or Facebook account to your Pinterest account, you can follow the step-by-step instructions below to reset your password.
Open the Pinterest app if you're using it on your cell phone. If you're a desktop or laptop user, go to Pinterest.com or open the web app.
Next, access the login page from the home screen.
In this step, you need to click on the anchor link Forgot your password? to reset your Pinterest password without the email.
It will allow you to search for your account by your Pinterest username in this step. So, enter your Pinterest username and identify your account.
Now click the This is my button next to the identified account.
Pinterest will automatically send you a password reset link to your connected email after clicking the This is me button.
On the screen, Pinterest will show you which email address the password reset link was sent to.
Go to your mailbox and tap on the reset link.
Then enter a new password once, and in the password confirmation field, enter the new password again. Make sure both passwords are the same, otherwise Pinterest won't let you change it.
In the last step, click the Change Password button and you can start using your new password.
To perform the above method, you do not need to provide your registered email address. With just the username, you can reset the password.
