SHOULD WE SECURE OUR IDEA FIRST BEFORE GIVING IT TO THIS COMPANY?

n23d - It is kind of a given that the work we do is confidential however for more security you can request a signed nondisclosure agreement prior to giving them the files for quoting and printing.

we3du - Do you mean when you're uploading your STL to MakeXYZ for a quotation? If so, Nathan would be the best guy to advise on that.

vinnie90 - Plenty of NDA's on the net. I actually have one for my customers.

If it is a design that they want to keep secure then I offer my NDA, if they have one of their own then I read it and sign it. Im sure most people wont have a problem signing NDA's on here.

I just use a generic one off the internet. http://www.hbs.edu/entrepreneurship/pdf/Sample_NDA.pdf

I skimmed through this one. I would read it first and make any changes you want to it.

elpulpo - Just so that we understand you correctly, @smoothjo59, do you want to sign an NDA with one of the printers on MakeXYZ.com, or MakeXYZ themselves? Having trouble understanding your situation.
