I got a notification here asking if I'd like to attend a local meetup in Jersey City on Nov 5, but then it also asked if I'd like to host. Which begs the question, is one happening, is anyone else attending, and where is it?

- Local meetups is a normal thing with the 3Dhubs community, benefits them greatly... but they have no community forum like this. Our local 3D Printing Club meets weekly and essentially is the MakeXYZ/3Dhubs community meetup for our area. Can we expect an element of the site to facilitate local meetups? Will it be acknowledged that there is massive community crossover? Will MakeXYZ meetups be purposely scheduled to either avoid or coincide with 3Dhubs meetups? MakeXYZ would do well to frame any attempts as a general Maker/Printer club organization tool so that a coinciding 3Dhubs meetup would fall under the umbrella of the general group... which is pseudo sponsored by MakeXYZ.

- @ray there are meetups happening in tons of different cities. and you're seeing the jersey city meetup because that's the closest one to you.
we're asking for locals to pick the places, as makexyz employees won't be at all of the meetups.
cause who needs us anyway? it's about you guys/girls, the community

- @nathan, awesome. Honestly, another discussion board/ section where each location was its own thread would do it. And the popup would link to the respective location thread.
