Makerbot, Makergear, or Ultimaker?

Any final thoughts on which I should buy?
They seem relatively similar in size and capabilities.

Let us know your choice in what you buy and why. I think we could all benefit from that data.
As far as printers, Ultimaker is one of the best in the realm of preassembled open source Cartesian 3D printers. It's my favorite Cartesian design, and arguably one of the best possible designs in terms of speed and accuracy. MakerGear makes some pretty nice printers too. I'm a strong supporter of open source printing, and so I really can't recommend anything newer than the Replicator 1 from Makerbot.
