My Success To Become a FOCP FinOps Certified Practitioner
Recently, I successfully completed the FinOps Certified Practitioner exam and I wanted to share my experience with you all.

The exam was surprisingly easy, provided that you thoroughly go through all the study materials. It's a 60-minute exam, but you have plenty of time to complete it. Personally, it took me about 35 minutes and I never felt rushed. The best part is that it's a remote, unproctored exam, so you can take it in your own browser without any special surveillance software or someone watching remotely.

If you're familiar with the AWS certification space, you'll find that it's more like an accreditation rather than a certification, although the difficulty level is similar to the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions that don't require extensive reading.

What's great about this certification is that you have three attempts available right away. So, as soon as you feel confident with the material, you can give it a try and see if you're at the necessary level.

To prepare for the exam, I highly recommend using the Passcert [**FOCP study materials**](https://www.passcert.com/FOCP.html). They cover all the necessary material and also provide practice exams to ensure you're well-prepared. Additionally, I suggest gaining some practical experience by thoroughly reviewing the cloud bill and cost reporting of your cloud provider. This will give you a real-life understanding of the theory.
