Oculus Quest 2 connected to PC as a client is detected as HTC Vive on the server
Hello!
I’m currently facing an issue that when I connect Oculus Quest 2 to my PC via USB-C cable and use it as a CloudXR client, make a connection to a server to Unreal Engine App, it detects my controllers as HTC Vive controllers. Bacause of that the input doesn’t work, it works only for one touch button. If I use Oculus Quest 2 directly localy on a server everything is fine. Does anyone had the same issue before?

brandondyer - I've had a similar issue with my Oculus Quest 2 not connecting correctly to my PC. It can be pretty frustrating when the device isn't recognized correctly. What worked for me was tweaking the USB power settings on my PC and turning off the link. To fix it, I went to the Device Manager, expanded the 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' section, and found the USB Root Hub where my Oculus was connected. Right-clicking on it and selecting 'Properties', I navigated to the 'Power Management' tab and unchecked the box saying, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". This seemed to provide the Oculus with sufficient power for a stable connection.

If you're still having trouble, there are more solutions that you can find here - https://ufthelp.com/oculus-quest-not-connecting-to-pc/, which include various troubleshooting steps specifically for Oculus Quest 2 connectivity issues.
