- It depends on how much power needs your 3D printer. As far as I know, portable power inverters do not provide enough power for 3D printers

- People usually prefer to get less powerful portable power invaders because they are more convenient to use. Meanwhile, there are plenty of different models available on the market. Personally, I knew in advance that 1000W won’t be enough for me. So, I bought a 2200W power inverter on http://www.manmaicha.com/Power-inverter-Manufacturers-China.html I saw people buying even more powerful models, but only God knows why do they need them. So you can easily connect your 3D printer to a power inverter if you need it. Just pay attention to how much power consumes your specific model of 3D printer.
