webuser_503784737 Help with electrical
I need help, ugh. I changed switches and outlets on this one line that weren't working. I also replaced the circuit breaker. Then they started working and did so for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden, everything on that line went off. I tried to trace through. I started with the bathroom (as I had done when I originally started) replaced the switch for the fan (which I hadn't before, and before the fan would try to run but barely). After changing, the fan doesn't run at all and the light comes on but very dimly. And, when I try to switch on the fan, the light goes off. Weird. The other outlets in the house on that line still don't work. Any suggestions so far??

sasha1 - Oh, that's why I never undertake to do repairs myself. It seems to me that in such cases when the price of a mistake is a human life. It would be easier to determine how to help you if you attached a photo, but I think it will be problematic for you. I advise you to call a specialist. It's impossible to make a good repair if you don't have an education. A good electrician will tell you how to fix the situation. Or maybe the fact is that you chose the wrong material for wiring? I found an article on https://www.tidalelectricalservices.com/service/aluminum-wiring-mitigation/ and it said that aluminum wiring is extremely dangerous. If something doesn't work well for you, then a fire is possible.
