I'm having a problem and I've tried to contact makexyz but I've gotten no response. Here is my whole story. I submitted a design on August 8th and makexyz could not print it. They didn't say why they couldn't print it but they did say something like: "Looks like there was an issue with the internal of the prints as the TPU was really stringy and was impossible to post process and clean up, we are reprinting it in a different way to try and get a better result. If that doesn't work we will have to cancel and refund the order." I asked them what specifically was wrong with my design and they never told me. It took them about two weeks to get back to me even with the limited information they gave me. Okay, so two weeks wasted and I have no idea if the problem is makexyz's printers or my design. I still needed my design printed so I checked my STL file and found that there were errors. I figured that this might be causing the issues they were talking about so I fixed the errors and I resubmitted the design a second time, which was back in late August and there has been no update to the order, it is still in progress. I emailed them five days ago to ask if there was something wrong with my design and I got no response. It's been over two weeks and I've heard nothing. I really can't wait any longer for this part so I submitted the design to Shapeways, they also couldn't print my part, but they did let me know right away and told me what was specifically wrong with my design. I hate to use Shapeways though because they are more expensive. I guess for the extra cost you get better customer support and a quicker turn around time, AND actual feedback regarding your design. Customer support at makexyz is terrible. Communication with technical support regarding design issues is also terrible. Is anyone else having an experience like this? It’s been over two weeks with NO FEEDBACK on why my order is going nowhere.
