With the Additive Manufacturing Certificate from SME, America Makes, and MSOE as well as many years of engineering experience in product development, plastic part design, plastic part failure analysis, composite materials, composites manufacturing, resin casting, metal fabrication, and wood working we have plenty of expertise to assist you with your rapid prototyping needs.
We have two rapid prototyping processes in-house; FDM and SLA. FDM projects are serviced by a Stratasys DImension and the SLA projects are serviced by a Fromlabs Form 2.

Our FDM machine makes use of real engineering thermoplastics. The 8x8x12" build envelope is housed in a controlled environment chamber. We have completed projects that included parts of LEGO size up through large robot housing parts.

Our SLA (Stereo Lithography Apparatus) creates beautiful parts in liquid thermoset plastic resins. With its precision laser system this process is capable of producing parts with 25 micron (0.001") layers (Z) and even better X/Y precision. The minimum feature size for this process is about 0.003". Because of this it is often used to produce investments for jewelry production. The process is also excellent for producing parts that simulate ABS thermoplastic in a highly precise manner. We offer the full range of Formlabs resins which include general purpose grey, presentation-ready white, high precision black, Tough (ABS simulation), clear (great for working with light or showcasing internal features), Castable (for investment casting jewelry or other metals), and Flexible (a material that is great for simulating over-molds).
