About me

My name is David and I am a mechanical engineering major at Villanova University going into my senior year. I've had a passion for design and manufacturing for as long as I can remember; I started restoring classic muscle cars with my dad in our garage as soon as I could hold a flashlight steady.

I started learning CAD and 3D printing in high school and now have about 7 years of experience under my belt, with a massive variety of projects from things like beetleweight combat robots to custom printed, finished, and assembled speaker housings, to innovative PVC piping assembly tooling.

I typically model in Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360. (Solidworks preferred)

My preferred slicer is Ultimaker Cura.

I print on my personal customized Creality CR-10. You'll be amazed at the quality of print you can get out of a printer like this - all it takes is a little bit of love and a lot of calibration.

I'm a pretty resourceful and clever guy - if there is something not listed on my profile that you were wondering about, just ask! I'd bet I can make it happen.

And best of all, I'm cheap labor! I've intentionally selected low costs so that I can not only offer you good value, but also build my portfolio and have a good time doing it. I'll be handling everything from initial concept to final touches personally, so I can ensure an excellent result in every way.

I strive to put an end to the plague of poor consumer design that I think we have been facing for the last few decades. I hope to make the world just a little bit more beautiful and functional, one design at a time.
