Hi,
I am a 3D printing enthusiast and bought a 3d printer to do sculptures and props from movies and video games. This hobby of mine had become pretty serious over the past years so I was always looking for ways to reach perfection… or at least to come as close as possible. 3D printing seemed the right choice. I started modeling and found out that I had a talent to do this. My own 3D printer came after I had some experience with modeling.

I currently own an Ultimaker 2 and couldn't be happier with the results. It is usually not necessary to use the highest resolution to get great results. That depends on the model of course.

The second printer is the Zim by Zeepro. I got on board with their Kickstarter Campaign in 2013 and I am now awaiting its arrival.
