My printer is tuned for making small, (think Walnuts,) detailed parts from Taulman 618 Nylon, including the required Garolite LE build platform. Nylon 618 is "Natural" semi-translucent white, but can be dyed any color of the rainbow *after* printing. I have said rainbow of dyes mixed-up and ready to go if you must have color.

I keep a nice 720p CCD camera trained on the build platform, so you can watch the action via the web.

I print detailed parts at 0.2mm, larger / quick and dirty parts at 0.30-0.33mm. If you plan to actually USE 3D-printed parts in the real world, nothing else comes close to the toughness of this material.

Parking around here is tough, but you can park in the driveway for 15min, and there's a Divvy bike rental station, Clark & North Ave buses right at the corner, and the State/Division Red Line stop 4 blocks down the street.

*** For the time being, I'm doing my 3D printing in Plymouth, MI, where I'll be working for many months, so no more local Chicago pickup, unless I happen to be visiting.
