I've been a 3D printing enthusiast since I first owned a MakerBot Cupcake in 2009. I then picked up a MakerGear Mosaic M1, as well as a couple of PP3DP Up! Plus printers. I purchased a MakerBot Replicator 2 around October 2013 and it makes quality prints out of PLA, which is currently my favorite material to print. However, I just purchased a FlashForge Creator X in April 2014 and am starting to learn how to work with dual extruders. It's very exciting stuff!
I will do my best to minimize warping by using the ABS adhesive sold by PP3DP, but sometimes you will still get very slight warping on large prints. I cannot spend time cleaning up the parts for you, so it will be up to you to remove the raft and any support material. If you have a piece that's too large for the UP, I can use my Creator X, but I'm not sure the print quality is there yet, as I need to learn to tweak the settings for the different types of ABS filament I have in stock.
My printer of choice right now is the Replicator 2, which delivers high-quality, low warpage PLA prints. I stock a variety of colors, though I prefer to provide prints using whatever color is currently loaded in the printer. While I don't charge for changing out the color, this may change in the future. Should that happen, the best thing is to ask me what color is loaded and you can decide whether or not this is acceptable for your object.
I have printed a variety of parts for use at my real job, from simple spacers, to more complex robot grippers, to light fixtures. I have also printed parts for an interesting differential gearbox, as well as small toys for my kids. I tend to mostly make household items, many of which are available on Thingiverse. I'm soon going to design parts for the OpenBuilds products to make assembling your own robots cheap and simple.
I have access to other tools as well. Should you have a design that requires laser cutting acrylic or wood, please let me know.
Feel free to send me any parts you are interested in making, and I'll do my best to help you out and provide valuable feedback. I know makexyz now has rush ordering, but I always do my best to get the parts done quickly. If I can turn it around in 24 hours, I'll do that and never charge you more.
