About me

My name is Greg Fischvogt and for the past 8 years I've designed laparoscopic surgical devices for a large local company. In my time outside of work I've started a small consulting business that offers FDM 3D printing on my Makerbot Replicator 2X, 3D part modeling, and product design services.

Because of the nature of my day job, I'm well versed in designing parts and assemblies for both ease of concept prototyping and long term full scale production.

If you have an idea in mind, need or have a 3D model, and are looking for someone to make a low cost prototype of it, I can be a valuable partner to help iterate your design.

The machine I have is capable of creating ABS plastic parts as long as they fit within a [9.7 X 6.0 X 6.1 IN] space. An advantage of my machine setup is I have the ability to better mimic production parts because of the material my machine prints and the ability to use a support material that can be dissolved with a solvent.
