Howdy, let me take a second to introduce myself. I am a guy who tinkered with stuff since I was a little kid. Take things apart break them fix them and create new monstrosities. I have worked in the computer fixing / configuration / roll out industry as a professional for well over 15 years now. I want to help you with your tinker projects!

I started 3d printing with the idea that I would get the Daughter interested in the idea that "things" do no have to be bought at stores. That you can create fix and tinker your way into life and its wonders of discovery. I decided that my first 3d printer for hobby needed to be something solid and small and approachable for my daughter. I purchased the new Printrbot Metal simple. It has a good intro build space and easy to use platform. This I wish to share with you and your project theorists.

I have used several pieces of software lerning how to get the best out of my .4mm extruder tip, that allows me to print some pretty good details down to .1mm layers. they look pretty good and the take forever to print. I personally prefer the .25 mm layers for speed, sticky, and look.

I have just begun here at the MakeXYZ site and am interested in meeting peeps to do projects and help me have a wider vision on ideas and implementation of 3d printing. Also i think it is a great way to promote 3d printing and get others like school kids interested in this understanding.

I will try to keep this site updated. Also the pricing is flexible as it really is dependent on the project you have and which needs you have. I do not list 3d design but i have some minor skill to help out with getting you where you need to go.
