About me

Hypatia Studio LLC consists of Matt and Mahi, who are trained as mechanical engineers and are interested in 3D printed design and art. We enjoy helping people achieve their creative vision, whether it's just printing your model, creating a 3D model of your design and optimizing it for 3D printing, or helping to translate your idea to a design. We have experience with both mechanical and electrical design. We like making multicolor name badges!

We are based in Northglenn, CO, just north of Denver. Our primary 3D printer is a Hypercube set up for PLA, and we also have Monoprice Minis that can be used for some smaller designs.

Recently we designed and manufactured a lighting system for an existing light diffuser for product photography. The ring-shaped light splits open to fit around the diffuser and then snaps shut, and contains twelve touch-activated LED lights. For this design, we designed and built the electronics as well as the light.
