I am a former model maker for film and TV, and currently a computer modeler/designer/animator.

I have a Projet 1500. Currently printing Visijet FTI grey resin. Other colors are available, though they must be ordered, and additional charges may apply.

Parts are printed with supports made of the same material, and must be removed. Parts require fixing bath and UV cure. Support materials will be trimmed, but final hand finishing is an extra charge (part dependent). Parts that can be split and printed as two sides then joined will produce better results. I can offer this service at an extra charge, but you have more control over the process if you preflight your parts in that matter. I can consult with you regarding the requirements.

Resin parts are brittle compared to FDM (Makerbot-style) parts, and are therefore best not put into actual use.

As noted I can hand finish parts if desired for an extra charge. I can also create silicon rubber molds from your part masters for casting multiples if desired.
