About me
Hello! The name is Nick. I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade.
If you haven't had anything 3D Printed before here are some things you should know.
- 3D prints are not smooth like your typical molded plastic parts
- They are not as strong as molded plastic parts
- PLA is rigid but more brittle ABS is less rigid but more flexible
- The tolerances should be fairly large for 3D printed parts
- Not everything can be 3D printed.
- Areas that need support material will be more rough then other surfaces
- Finally Prints take a long time don't expect instant results
