Things I've Made
About me
I became interested in 3D printing in 2015 when I built my own CNC machine, later my wife bought me a Chinese prusa i3 as a Christmas present and I have been hooked ever since!
Currently I print with an Original Prusa i3 MK3 as this printer is much more reliable!
I am currently mastering Fusion 360. My latest designs use snap-fit tabs to hold two pieces together.
I primarily use Simplify3D to generate g-code as I find this allows the best control of layer height, in-fill (to add strength to required areas) and control thin-wall behaviour.
I have also gained a vast amount of knowledge operating a 3D printer at work for more than a year. We primarily produce enclosures.
