I am a mechanical engineering consultant operating as Phoenix Engineering Services. My company is a design, engineering, development, and printing service.
My clientele includes but is not limited to Industrial Design firms, manufacturers, product developers and Forensics Engineering firms. Utilizing the Makerbot Replicator 2X I have the ability to print in PLA and ABS at .10, .20, & .30mm resolutions. I primarily print to verify form, fit & function of parts designed to be injection molded plastic. I also use the printer to verify the fit & function of all mechanical parts required for a product either plastic or metallic in order to shorten the time to market of a product.
