About me

I have an Ultimaker 2+ and a Makergear Prusa. I also have a custom designed and built printer for larger prints but currently I am not including that here as it is busy on continuous large projects.

I will work with you to find the best path for you, and care about the final quality of the output. If I feel the print will work I'll let you know, and if not or if there's an alternative that is better for you that I know I'll let you know as well. This is a place where we can help each other to make things happen and put 3D printing in the hands of those who might not have access.

I have a small Robotics and AI company and am currently working on some very cool home robotics with my wife and father. I use my printers for prototyping ideas, it's a great way to do so! Additionally, I also consult (we can discuss that if you have need as well), and have worked on all sorts of projects ranging from haptics (think rumble controllers or the vibration in your phone that gives information) to alternative energy, cool robotic cameras, and a bunch of others. I have knowledge of not only mechanical design but also electrical, software, embedded systems, and more. All around a balanced and down to earth engineer, even though I have a PhD.

I've also used 3D printing in graduate school as part of the unique robotic limbs I developed that can manipulate objects and do all sorts of cool things.

Currently I'm putting together a book on 3D printing and hope to publish it quite soon. It will help give a sense of what 3D printing is as well as how to design for printing, actually do it, work with various technologies and printers.
