About me
RockIT CoLabs, a small co-working/makerspace in the heart of downtown, has a Type A Series 1 3D printer. We use PLA in house. We also have an Othermill, a brand new desk top sized milling machine that can mill metal, casting wax, and wood.
You are welcome to contact us about print jobs. However, we also offer memberships and classes so you can machines yourself.
We've made several interesting projects including, a bicycle powered hat knitting machine, a robo-hand (a prosthetic hand for sufferers of ABS), and several prototype mock ups for projects ranging from a solar battery pack to an emergency key sized charger for your phone.
