My name is Travis Stone and I am addicted to Additive Manufacturing aka 3D printing. Taking a concept from a sketch or idea, rendering it in a drawing, and then slicing it to print, has been one of the most fulfilling things that I've accomplished. As a contractor I got into 3D printing by envisioning a future where printing on a job-site could become invaluable for fabrications because it would save time and money. I recently had the pleasure of incorporating 3D printing into the construction market. For this construction project, I made simple inserts/spacers for a custom handrail that were needed to connect painted conduit into a stainless steel plate. I'm very enthusiastic about the future technologies in 3D printing and am constantly learning new things about it.
